'The Charlie & the chocolate factory' was truly a delightful event filled with joy, cheerful smiles and chocolate. Plenty of chocolate...
The day started off with the most magical manner of all; a magic show!
Our very own Charlie Bucket of the day (Omar Ghanem) started the day off complaining about his company losing it's magic touch and asking for someone's help, unsurprisingly, Mr. Magic (Tim Panopio) was randomly passing by and decided to show the parents that came in for the day along with the children a few amazing magic tricks of his own before eventually bringing Willy Wonka and his friends back from the past.
With Willy Wonka (Hassan Hani) back in town, Charlie & him decided to get the fun started with a few rounds of "Wonka says", a very exciting game of "Passing the Wonka parcel" which was followed by a quick "Guess the basket" game and a quiz! Students all around the school were equally engaged either with their unique theme based classes or with a simple attempt at finding one of the ten golden stars on the chocolate bars all around the school. The day was concluded with all the factory managers and members presenting an item of their own and sharing their learning experience with everyone else and the lucky winners that found the golden stars receiving 1 month supply of chocolate!
It truly was a unique day of it's own kind with families coming together and having some fun, students learning about new interesting things in different ways, and a whole lot of Charlie & Wonka fun!
Well done to everyone that made this event possible!
