Our school has always been known for reaching out to those in need, giving a helping hand and raising awareness to various causes, and the recent typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines was no different.
We started our UN assembly on the 14th with a moment of silence for all the victims of the typhoon and urged everyone who is willing to help through money donations or even clothes, blankets or in whichever way possible to start bringing them in and the collecting campaign has already began.
Our condolences go out to everyone in the Philippines and all of the families here whose loved ones or homes might've been affected and to the Philippines itself as a nation with hopes of a fast recovery.
